We are coming up on the 50th and 40th reunions of a number of Hillcrest High School grads. For those of you who cannot count or have forgotten how to add and subtract, the folks of the Class of '58 and '68 are getting older this year. They have reached a milestone that they thought would never happen in their lifetime.
They can still see the school on the hill with Charlie as janitor just working up and down the halls mopping. The '58 folks remember that the new Hillcrest had just opened up and everything is new, but the cows still stick their heads in the windows and with the wind coming from the south, everyone could smell the cows and manure.
